La Cantina Acroneo opens its historic underground cellars for a truly special event: Open Cellars, an immersive experience that blends fine wine with centuries of tradition. The event will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, starting at 5:30 PM, offering guests a sensory journey through tastings, stories and evocative atmospheres. Inside the ancient cellars, visitors will enjoy a curated wine tasting paired with a rich aperitif, accompanied by live musical entertainment that will enhance the charm of the evening. It was an honor to host the students of the ONAV Cosenza tasting course for a technical tasting rooted in our land. Thanks to our friends at the Giraldi winery for their hospitality and sharing this wonderful experience. We traveled through time through four unique expressions of our region: Zefiro: A pure Greco Bianco, aged in stainless steel. Fresh and vibrant, dedicated to my nephew. Katia: From a rare grape like Castiglione, a profound tribute to my mother. Creta: Our Aglianico aged in underground amphorae. Each bottle is numbered, a return to the origins of winemaking. Vino Dell’Archeologo: Pure Magliocco, aged in amphorae and numbered. The heart of our wine and archaeological research. Continuing the tradition of native grape varieties through age-old techniques is our mission. Thank you to all the aspiring tasters for your enthusiasm!

It’s always wonderful to meet enthusiasts of wines made using the amphorae method. People who travel from the Caucasus to the Balkans and come here to the Acroneo winery, located in the village of Serricella di Acri, to rediscover the origins of wine and the mystery that surrounds every glass of the nectar of the Gods.
